I i think Allie and I are going to make a movie for the Project. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be the star of the movie, but we are going to ask a few other people if they would like to join us in our Project. We haven't decided when we are going to film it, but it will be sometime soon. I'm pretty sure Allie is going to be editing our video, atleast that's what i think she told me i don't really remember. We will probably do the scenes we already read so that we don't wreck the end for any one and get F's.
Just in case this movie thing doesn't work out i picked 1930's crime for a POWER point topic. I haven't started my reseach yet, but I've seen the Untouchables like five times. My slides are going to be bery pretty and colorful, and have some pretty BA pictrues. What does MLA mean?

Shakespeare Infucences

One modern movie that Shakespeares plot is used in is the Spiderman trilogy. In Spiderman Harry is in love with Mary Jane, but so is Peter. Throughout the movie, Mary Jane starts to fall in love with Spiderman and has no idea its Peter. Peter disapoints Mary Jane and so in the second Spiderman movie, Mary starts to date Harry. Then at the end of the second movie, Spiderman saves her and she finds out its Peter. Then in the third movie Mary Jane gets engaged to the asternaught and Peter is still in love with her. This plot is very similar to the plot of A Midsummer Night's Dream. In both stories they have a love triangle.
Most movies these days are influenced by shakespearian plot ideas. I think that the Spiderman trilogy was based on this play because they both have love triangles. I don't think the plot was strickly based on that of Midsummer Night's Dream because in Spiderman Mary Jane doesnt have a father that is making her marry a certain man. I don't know of any movies that strickly follow a shakespearian plot but just the general ideas of love triangle, mistaken identities, and star crossed lovers.

Free write on Animal Farm

I don't really like this book that much its kind of boring to read the only thing i like about the book is how it relates to the Russian Revolution. I like that the book relates to the Russian Revolution because for some reason i have always had a thing for history. One of the main things I dont like about this book is the fact that it uses talking animals it still isn't clear wheather or not the animals can talk to the humans or not.
But thier were a few things i thought cool as i was reading the book. the most interesting one was how the writer used the dogs to represent the KGB, I always thought the KGB was one of the most interesting things about the revolution. I also like Nepoleon and how he is trying to get the farm to do everything he wants. mean while he is just laying around the farm rarely comming out and not even going to sunday meetings. another thing i like about Nepoloen is how hes keeps contral of the farm by having Squealer run around spreading his propaganda.

I think that one of the main themes of the book is not to jude a book by its cover. Atticus is the main one trying to teach his kids not jude people and tyring to see things through there eyes. Such as when Atticus was talking to Scout in chapter 3 he said ". . . consider things from things from his point of view." (30) As the book goes on Scout and Jem start to learn what Atticus is tyring to teach them.

Atticus as a father

I think Atticus is a very good foather to Jem and Scout he is always teaching them good morals one of them would be not jude people like when he said to scout "... you never really undersandt a person until you consider things from his point of view" (30) He wanted Scout to try and see things from her teachers point of view. I also think Atticus is more understanding then most other mothers or fathers. i like parents the way they are for the most part but sometimes i wish they were a little more understanding.

Boo Radley

at first i thought Boo Radley was kind of a weird creepy person, but know that I've read more to the story i think hes just tyring to be friends with Jem and Scout. like when Jem lost his pants in the Radley gate and when he went back for them they were nice and folded. also when Jem and Scout were out side while miss Maudie's house was burning Boo ran out with a blanket for Scout.
